What exactly is the Peachtree Street Society? Well, it’s a concept brought upon by our new reality of social distancing. Closing the shop to the public was incredibly hard for me. Not just because it signified a loss of sales, but also a loss of contact. I had wonderful conversations inside my store and often they included several people. I loved interacting with everyone and I knew I had to find a way to continue.
The Peachtree Street Society is my answer. This is going to be a place where we can stay in contact virtually. By utilizing Zoom and Calendly, we will be able to see and hear each other in a group setting! We can chat over a cup of coffee or have some laughs while we toast with our glasses of wine during happy hour. Other times, I’ll have guest speakers that can share some of their expertise. We can even have private shopping sessions with you and a couple of your closest friends. Maybe we can start a book club!? There are numerous possibilities and the calendar of events will always be a work in progress!
To participate, all you need to do is sign up for an event. You will then get an email giving you login information. You can login via your computer or an app on your phone or tablet. It’s that simple. There are no fees to you. I do ask that you allow the video portion, because being able to see each other is a huge reason to do this!
